Spa City address, west-side everyday convenience.

Hot Springs is a national park town of about 38,000, wrapped around the thermal waters that made it famous. Shady Hills sits on the working west side, where Airport Road keeps errands, the airport, and the US-70 bypass close, and downtown stays one straight road away.

Commuting
Airport Road is US-70 Business, the classic route into Hot Springs. It meets the US-70/US-270 bypass at the southwest edge of town and runs into the city as Albert Pike Road and Grand Avenue. Heading east, US-70 connects Hot Springs to Interstate 30 toward Little Rock.
Flights
Memorial Field Airport (HOT) is on the same road as the community, about 3 miles southwest of downtown, with scheduled commercial service through Southern Airways Express.
Flights
Tourism and healthcare anchor the local economy. Hot Springs National Park and Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort keep visitors coming year-round, and CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs serves as the regional referral hospital for southwest Arkansas.
Flights
The west side sits between two districts: the Hot Springs School District in town and the Lake Hamilton School District, whose campuses are just west of the city. District assignment for a specific address is confirmed at enrollment.
Healthcare
CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, a 280-bed hospital and the area’s Level II trauma center, and National Park Medical Center, a 166-bed acute care hospital, both operate in Hot Springs.
Recreation
Lake Hamilton spreads across 7,200 acres on the south side of the city, and Hot Springs National Park itself begins downtown, where Bathhouse Row and its trails meet the city center.
